Anchoring a price to an outcome
Most of the advice written before 2020 assumed a client who compared hourly rates first[1]. That is no longer true. Price the work, not the hours: the buyer is purchasing a problem going away[3].
Your first chapter comes with its sources attached — from the very first draft.

Manuscript, cover and files are yours to sell.

[9]Questions
The ones authors ask first.
Can I trust the facts?
Every factual sentence carries a citation mark that opens the stored source, its date and a reliability score. Anything we could not verify is labelled unverified — never hidden. Re-verify a chapter any time.
Can I edit the book myself?
It is a real editor. AI output arrives as tracked changes when you have already written in a chapter, so your words are never overwritten. Versions are kept at every approval and export.
Do I own what I make, and what about Amazon KDP?
You own the manuscript, cover and exports. The copyright page includes an AI-disclosure line and the export screen walks you through KDP’s rules.
What does a book cost?
A 10-chapter researched book is about 61 credits before the cover; updating a 14-chapter book with 31 fixes is about 73. The free plan includes 80 credits once; paid plans roll credits over.
What if something fails halfway?
Steps retry on their own and partial results are saved. If a run still fails, unused credits return to your balance with a ledger line explaining why.
