Comparison
Get one, or write one?
Both turn a sentence into an ebook. They differ on what happens before the first chapter, and on what you can prove afterwards. Everything below is taken from getebook.ai’s public pages, checked on 27 August 2026.

[2]The difference that matters
What happens before the first chapter.
A chat model writes from memory. Wrightebook looks things up, shows you the plan and its price, and only then writes.
Research is a step, not a hope
Sources are gathered and scored before the outline; every claim in the chapters points back to one.
You approve the outline with the cost on it
The drafting price is printed on the button. Nothing is charged until you press it.
Your old books count
Upload a book you already published and update it — the entry point no sentence-to-ebook generator offers.
[3]Questions
What authors ask about this
Is this comparison fair?
It is limited to what each product states publicly, checked on 27 August 2026. Where getebook.ai’s site does not mention a capability we say “not mentioned”, not “no”. If something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
Where is getebook.ai ahead today?
It exports EPUB and DOCX now (Wrightebook exports a typeset PDF today, with EPUB and DOCX arriving on paid plans), it offers templates for lead magnets, workbooks and courses, and it lists an analytics dashboard.
Why do sources matter for an ebook?
Because nonfiction sells on trust. A reader who catches one wrong number stops trusting the rest. Wrightebook keeps every source in a numbered registry that becomes the Notes, and flags any citation or attribution that does not resolve to it, so you can defend the book you publish.
What does “credits roll over” change?
You are paying for books, not for the calendar. A month you do not write is not a month you lose, up to three months’ worth of credits.
Can I switch from getebook.ai?
Yes. Export your book as PDF, DOCX or EPUB, upload it to Wrightebook and run the diagnosis — it becomes an editable, updatable manuscript with sources added where they are missing.
Start free with 80 credits, approve the outline, read every cited chapter — and keep the credits you do not use.
