What we store, and why.

What we collect

Your account (name, email, sign-in method), the books you make (ideas, outlines, chapters, uploaded manuscripts, covers, exports), your credit ledger, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested). We do not sell any of it.

Who processes it for us

• Clerk — sign-in and sessions (email, Google).
• Neon — the database that holds your books and ledger (hosted in the United States).
• Vercel — hosting, and the AI Gateway through which model requests are sent.
• AI model providers — receive the text needed to research, outline, draft, diagnose or typeset your book; we send only what the task needs and do not use your books to train models.
• Polar — payments, as Merchant of Record. Card details never reach our servers.

How we use it

To make and store your books, to keep the credit ledger accurate, to secure the service, and to answer your email. We do not run advertising and we do not share your manuscripts with anyone except the processors above, for the purpose of producing your book.

Your choices

Export any book at any time. Delete a book from your library and it is removed from the database. Email hello@wrightebook.com to delete your account entirely or to receive a copy of your data; we answer within 14 days.

Cookies

Only what sign-in needs: Clerk’s session cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
